  • A tactile guidance system leads from the »Kunsthalle« bus stop (bus 112) to the Kunsthalle. From the direction of the main station, the tactile guidance system begins at the intersection of Ernst-Merck-Straße and Glockengießerwall. Directions (geocoordinates, text, mp3 and MyWayClassic) have been created for this purpose in cooperation with the Blinden- und Sehbehindertenverein Hamburg e.V. erstellt.

  • Guided tours with verbal descriptions (detailed descriptions of the images, not only for those with visual impairments) take place at the Hamburger Kunsthalle on a regular basis (usually once a month). Information is available from the Education & Outreach department.

  • Individual guided tours with descriptions are provided on request by the Education & Outreach department and can be booked via the Museum Service.

  • Audio descriptions are created for selected special exhibitions and made available in our app or via audio guides available on loan.

  • Guide dogs are welcome in the Kunsthalle. If you have any questions, please contact customer relations or the visitor services on site.

  • Unfortunately, general information is not yet available in Braille. Please use our app or our audio guides for this purpose.
